Financing cogeneration and district heating in Slovenia

A workshop on financing cogeneration and district heating in Slovenia will be held in Ljubljana on 26 May 1994.

The technical issues involved in cogeneration and district heating are well understood and the Slovenian energy sector stands to benefit from the transfer of technology from Western Europe. What is not clearly understood is the financing arrangements necessary for introducing new energy technologies. The objective of this workshop is to provide information on innovative financing options for cogeneration (combined heat and power) and district heating technologies in Slovenia.

The workshop will inform decision makers and technical experts about the different financing models that exist for cogeneration and district heating in EU countries and help them with the necessary information.
