An event aiming to create new business opportunities through collaborative projects in the field of Sustainable Technologies for Efficient Energy Production (STEEP) will take place in Budapest, Hungary, on 21-22 April 1994.
This first STEEP brokerage event is jointly organized by EUREKA, the European Commission, and the World Industry Council for the Environment (WICE). It aims to promote the development and diffusion of more efficient energy production technologies, and will focus on local resources, especially coal, biomass, waste and geothermal energy.
Energy scientists, engineers, financiers and policy makers are expected to benefit from this unique partnering event. The two-day meeting will bring together key players and provide them with an opportunity for discussion with potential partners from different European countries, to define projects to be organized and supported under one of the major European initiatives, such as EUREKA or the Framework Programmes for Community research and technological development.
