Diagnosis and energy rehabilitation of housing

A seminar on the diagnosis and energy rehabilitation of housing will take place in Barcelona on 26 May 1994.
The event is organized by the Institut Catala d'Energia (ICAEN), which is a member of the OPET network (Organizations for the Promotion of Energy Technologies). OPET links forty private and public organizations in the twelve Member States plus thirteen European Energy Centres in Central and Eastern European countries. It was established by the European Commission's THERMIE programme for the promotion of European energy technologies.
Presentations at the meeting include:
- The European Community programme for the promotion of energy technologies;
- Criteria for the energy audit, different typologies of dwellings;
- Energy rehabilitation of the building structure;
- Energy rehabilitation of technical installations;
- Simulation of energy consumption by computer models after the application of energy efficiency measures.
In addition, a number of case studies will be examined, and a round table will discuss the financial and technical barriers to energy rehabilitation.
