The Latvian information Technology and Telecommunications Association (LITTA) is organising an international forum 'Baltic IT&T 2005:eBaltics' to be held in Riga, Latvia, from 6 to 9 April.
The event will include:
- IST4Balt Workshop on IST (information society technologies) in the Sixth Framework Programme;
- roundtable discussion: Internet governance and regulation;
- the information society and the new drivers;
- the role of ICANN, ITU and other major players;
- Internet safety: concrete ways forward for government-industry partnerships;
- development of the information society in Europe;
- the international community and the information society;
- IT&T development and trends in the Baltic States;
