Workshop on new technologies for rational use of energy in the ceramic tiles industry

A workshop on new technologies for rational use of energy in the ceramic tiles industry will take place in Castellon, Spain on 28 April 1994.

The workshop is being organized as part of the THERMIE programme and under the framework of the OPET Network. It will examine the advanced technologies that allow the proper use of energy in the production process of ceramic wall and floor tiles. The meeting will also facilitate exchange between ceramic manufacturers and energy providers. The following sessions will form the basis of the workshop:
- Energy efficiency in the preparation and shaping of raw materials:
- Energy efficiency in firing technologies;
- Energy saving and environmental advantages through waste recycling;
- Third party financing in energy efficiency projects.

A technical visit to a ceramics factory will take place on 29 April 1994.
