A workshop on science reporting will take place on 2 October as part of the Global Investigative Journalism Conference, running from 29 September until 2 October in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

The workshop will address issues such as distinguishing good sources from non-reliable ones, and how to support scientific malpractice. The session will be moderated by Kim De Rijck, science editor at the Belgian newspaper De Standaard. Other workshops will address fields such as investigating healthcare and the secrets of the pharmaceutical industry.

Participants will also receive training on investigative techniques and computer-assisted reporting.For further information, please visit:
