The fifth Genomics Momentum, 'Genomics in the here and now: emerging benefits for health', will be held in The Hague, the Netherlands, on 5 October.
The event, supported by SenterNovem, the Dutch partner in the 'SMEs go LifeSciences' project, will showcase the state of health-related genomics today - a reality check on current applications and immediate opportunities.
In open plenary sessions, leading experts will present the latest developments in pharmaceutical research and development, food and nutrition, and medical technology. In parallel sessions, the Netherlands' genomics Centres of Excellence will present the contributions being made in areas including bioinformatics, ecogenomics, nutrigenomics and proteomics.For further information, please consult the following web address:
