A two-day course on making technology transfer happen will be held in Sunderland, UK, on 12 May 1994. The event is being organized by the Regional Technology Centre, one of the VALUE Relay Centres, which services the North East and Cumbria regions in the UK.

The two-day event is designed to bring practical knowledge of technology transfer techniques to those who need to know the essentials. It aims to present a overview of all the elements involved using case studies presented by the people who have made technology transfer work.

The experience of technology transfer centres in six EC countries will be combined with insights from industrialists. It will also feature a preview of the advanced training material currently being developed in Germany to assist European Companies in becoming globally competitive.
