Stakeholder conference: European Climate Change Programme second phase

A stakeholder conference on the launch of the European Climate Change Programme, second phase (ECCP II) will take place in Brussels, Belgium, on 24 October.
The European Climate Change Programme is the Commission's main instrument to discuss and prepare the further development of the EU's climate policy. The Commission runs this Programme in close cooperation with a wide range of stakeholders.
Commissioner for Environment, Stavros Dimas, will present the Commission's view on the further development of EU climate policy. In addition, a number of parallel sessions dealing with key areas, such as the ECCP I review, geological carbon capture and storage, adaptation, aviation, passenger road transport, energy efficiency, renewable energy and technology policy will give participants the opportunity to learn and provide input.For further information, please visit:
