A workshop on the benefits and challenges of enhanced patient mobility in Europe, part of the annual conference of the European Public Health Association (EUPHA), will take place in Graz, Austria, on 11 November.

The main theme of the EUPHA conference 2005 is 'Promoting the Public's Health: reorienting health policies, linking health promotion and health care'. One the specific aims of this conference is to outline a common strategy for a European research and training programme in public health. The workshop on patient mobility is organised by the FP6 EU funded project Europe for Patients (e4p). e4p's objective is to contribute scientific evidence that will enable policy makers at EU and national level to take concerted and coordinated action to allow patients to benefit from enhanced mobility in Europe.For further information, please visit:
