The Universities International Team of Experts, UNITE, is organising a conference on modalities of European framework programmes for research and development (R&D), that will take place in Warsaw, Poland, on 27 October.

UNITE is a team of European university negotiators, who - by personal invitation from the European Commission - have advised, as experts and members of IRDAC/ESTA, on the modalities of European framework programmes for R&D. Following the publication of the FP7 Specific Programmes, FP7 Rules for participation will be published soon. Before looking forward to the next framework programme, UNITE thinks it is important to take advantage of the lessons learned in the previous framework programmes in all Member States, particularly in the new Member States.

The focus of the conference, supported by the Warsaw Agricultural University, Warsaw University, NCP Poland and the European Commission, will be practical discussions of the three main themes of modalities: project management, financial administration and intellectual property rights. Experts, in these fields, especially those that are university-based in the New Member States, are invited to take part.For further information, please contact:
