Workshop on the importance of the fused zone in welding performance

A workshop entitled "Welding performance: the importance of the fused zone" will take place on 18-19 May 1994 in Florence. The workshop will be jointly organized by the BRITE/EURAM and ECSC programmes of the European Commission and will be held during the International "Eurojoin 2" conference at the same location.

The following subjects will be addressed by invited contributions from contractors in the BRITE/EURAM and ECSC programmes:
- Welding of dissimilar materials;
- Applications of power beam welding;
- Problems associated with weld strength mismatching.
