A workshop on national policy priorities and research and development (R&D) programmes in the field of information and communications technology (ICT) will take place in Brussels, Belgium, on 8 November.
Organised by TEKES, the National Technology Agency of Finland, and the European initiative for the coordination of IST research and national activities (CISTRANA), the primary aim of the workshop is to increase understanding of country-specific approaches to organising national public R&D funding in the field of ICT. To accomplish this, the workshop offers insights on national approaches, as well as highlights from an extensive survey of national priorities and R&D programmes.
