e-skills capacity building symposium

A symposium on e-skills capacity building will take place in Tunis, Tunisia, on 16 November.
Organised by the e-skills Certifications Consortium (e-SCC) in cooperation with the European Commission, the symposium will stress the importance of IT skills in bridging the digital divide. This aspect is often overlooked in the debate on capacity-building, which focuses largely on ICT infrastructure. The symposium will therefore explore how e-skills capacity-building can be enhanced by industry cooperating with governments and civil society in the field of education.
