Slovenia to host scientific forum on the Internet

An international scientific forum on the Internet, IPSI 2005, will take place in Bled, Slovenia, from 8 to 11 December.
The scope of the conference is relatively large: informatics, Internet, computer science and engineering, interdisciplinary research, Internet aspects of medicine, education, management and law, will be addressed, alongside traditional electrical and computer engineering, engineering physics, and bioengineering.
However the special focus of IPSI-2005 will be on quality of life (QoL), i.e. the impact of information technologies on QoL. The main goal of the conference is to bring together top scientists from all over the world, and to provide a forum for exchange of ideas in a number of related fields that interact, creating a setting in which they can interact synergistically, and hopefully develop new scientific results (new algorithms, new methods, new ways of thinking).For further information, please visit:
