A seminar on 'the external costs of energy and their internalisation in Europe' will take place in Brussels, Belgium, on 9 December.
Organised by the European Commission's Directorate General for Research, the event will provide the opportunity to listen to and debate with key actors in the field of energy's external costs. Prominent academics will describe methodologies for quantifying external costs and discuss the concerns with major utilities, NGOs and energy stakeholders.
