The second edition of the Mediterranean school on meso-scale meteorology (MSMM) will be held in Alghero, Italy, from 5 to 9 June 2006.

MSMM 2006 will be devoted to the study of phenomenology and theoretical-dynamical aspects of cyclones in the Mediterranean. The purpose of the course is to acquaint students and young scientists with meso-scale meteorology and to introduce recent advances on regional scale weather systems to people involved in operational weather forecast. These events also provide an opportunity for senior scientists to transmit their knowledge to younger generations involved both in scientific research and operational activities.For further information, please visit:
