The sixth edition of the European Schoolnet's annual meeting of international and national educational networks (EMINENT) will take place in Paris, France, from 8 to 9 December.

Organised by the French Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Research and European Schoolnet, the conference will focus on making the most of technology in Europe's schools and ensuring its widespread uptake.

European Schoolnet is an international partnership of 26 Ministries of Education developing learning methods for schools, teachers and pupils across Europe and beyond. The network provides insight into the use of information and communications technologies (ICT) in Europe.

The conference includes plenary sessions on ICT, policy and practice, and four parallel workshops, with over 30 presentations by invited experts on the state of the art, emerging issues and innovative solutions. The conference also includes the annual eLearning awards ceremony for outstanding practice in ICT in education, and an Internet safety stakeholder meeting and Internet safety award ceremony.For further information, please visit:
