The first European robotics symposium, 'EUROS 2006', will take place in Palermo, Italy, from 16 to 18 March.
Sponsored by the European Commission's future and emerging technologies (FET) unit as part of the EURON initiative, the symposium is a response to demands for a high quality scientific event to present the best research on robotics across applications and topics.
Over the last four years, the EURON (European robotics network) Network of Excellence annual meeting has served to bring together the European robotics community, but is primarily a networking event rather than a scientific event. By contrast, this event will showcase the best research on robotics from all over the world including previously unpublished work.For further information, please visit:
