A workshop on portals for information dissemination and taxonomies for classification will take place in Abingdon, United Kingdom, on 20 and 21 February 2006.
The event is organised by the UK Council for the Central Laboratory to the Research Councils, CCLRC, in the framework of the CISTRANA project, the European initiative for the coordination of IST research and national activities. The workshop aims to enhance exchange of information and understanding of the needs, realities and future prospects of portals for information on national and European research and development activities in IST.
CISTRANA is conducting a survey to collect views about a European IST taxonomy. The organizers are offering to cover hotel and travel costs to the workshop for 5 respondents offering the most interesting input to the discussion in the judgement of the organizers. To be eligible, please complete the survey by 3 Feb 2006.
