Polarisation and conflict, Cyprus
Co-sponsored by the EU funded Polarisation and Conflict Network (PAC), this event aims to examine the polarisation-conflict nexus and to discuss whether various forms of conflict can be traced back to a common or similar causal mechanism. Participants are also encouraged to discuss measures of polarisation and to compare them with indicators developed to study political fractionalisation and inequality.
The multidisciplinary 'Polarization and conflict' research project, funded under the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6 ), aims at promoting and coordinating research on the conceptualisation, modelling and measurement of polarisation and conflict and the links between the two.For further information, please consult the following web address:
