The second international symposium on implant interface biology will take place in Rostock, Germany, from 17 to 19 May.
The meeting will focus on the interdisciplinary research at the interface between implant biomaterials and the biosystem which forms a basis for tissue engineering and implant technology in the field of regenerative medicine. A principal topic will be the molecular mechanisms which are involved in the cellular interaction with the biomaterial surface.
