Technology brokerage event at the Winter Olympics

The Alps Innovation Relay Centre (IRC) will hold a technology brokerage event during the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in Turin, Italy and 2 and 3 March.

The event will address the state of the art in:
- technologies for disabled people (robotics, mechatronics and bioengineering);
- new materials and textiles (used in the production of wintersport equipment - particular attention will be paid to the development and use of nanotechnologies);
- localisation and rescue systems (case studies related to the use of advanced technologies for improving safety in mountain areas).For further information, please visit:
