In-Safety road safety workshop and road operator symposium

The In-Safety project has organised two events during the InterTraffic trade fair at the Amsterdam RAI, Netherlands - a workshop on 6 April, followed by a symposium on 7 April. Both days will explore novel approaches to road safety.

The workshop on the first day will include outlines of EU policy, and examine different approaches to road safety. It is expected to appeal to road operators, local and national road authorities, transport and public works ministries, ADAS and IVIS suppliers, car manufacturers and car clubs. Participants will debate topics such as vehicle infrastructure road safety solutions, driver assistance systems, new types of road signage and new methods for assessing road safety.

The symposium on the second day will look at and test a new multi-media training tool developed by In-Safety, and is specifically targeted at technicians responsible for the development and installation of telematic systems on the road network.For further information, please visit:
