The Euro-Southeast Asia conference and forum (EUSEA2006), focusing on creating information and communication technology (ICT) alliances between Europe and Southeast Asia, will take place in Singapore from 19 to 23 June.

The event is designed as a platform for European and Southeast Asian experts forging open policy, regulatory and research cooperation.

Keynote addresses will be given by high level European and Southeast Asian political, industrial and research representatives, while hands-on training sessions will address subjects such as: European funding and participation in joint projects, the European approach to the regulatory framework, and GRID technologies.

EUSEA2006 will also support networking between the 800 participants. Registered participants will receive access to an online networking tool for identifying counterparts prior to the event.

Alongside the conference, an exhibition will showcase innovative European technologies, products and solutions for audiovisual, satellite, security and telecommunications.

The event is funded by the European Commission, and is organised with the support of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations. For further information and to register online, please visit:
