CORDIS sessions at the European Business Summit

CORDIS, the European Union's official information service on research and innovation, will host two specialist sessions at this year's European Business Summit in Brussels, Belgium, both on 16 March.
The first session, from 13:30 to 14:30, looks at 'How to communicate scientific achievements to the business community'. It is a repeat of a previously successful CORDIS workshop, and brings together editors from national, professional and international business media to look at how researchers can use this medium to publicise their work and develop markets for new technologies.
The second session, from 17:30 till 18:30, will look at the power of networks and their importance to start-up firms. EU officials and innovation specialists will look at what policy makers can do to support networks aimed at encouraging innovation and technology transfer, and look at how small and medium sized enterprises can best exploit the opportunities offered by the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) and the Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (CIP).If you would like to attend either of these sessions, please contact:
