I-ESA will host a conference on interoperability, 'Interoperability - a competitive advantage for SMEs', specifically for the benefit of small or medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Bordeaux, France, on 20 March.

The conference is designed for those working in or on behalf of SMEs, SME associations and those who supply services to SMEs. The day will take in the current interoperability studies, including the ATHENA Integrated Project (IP), and the INTEROP Network of Excellence.

Talks will be given by officials from the European Commission, members of regional SME networks in Spain, France, the UK, Belgium and Germany. Presentations on project synthesis, including INTEROP and ATHENA and the role of standardisation, will also be given.For further information, please visit:
