Wallonie Espace has organised a Space Day to investigate the latest in space research. It will take place in Liège on 28 March.

The day is designed to stimulate interest in the space sector and to look at ways of identifying technological opportunities. Specific parts of the day will also be of interest to children and to the non-scientific community.

Speakers from the European Southern Observatory (ESO) will talk about the Very Large Telescope (VLT) in Chile. The fourth auxiliary telescope for the VLT was manufactured by the Liège-based company AMOS, which will also give a presentation. There will also be a presentation on OWL, an ambitious telescope with a 100-metre diameter.For further information, please visit:
