Final meeting of the INTEGRATING-ACC project, Brussels

An informal meeting to present the final results of the Integrating the Associated Candidate Countries into the Sixth Framework Programme through networking activities and improved NCP services (INTEGRATING-ACC) project will take place on 20 March in Brussels.

The project brought together National Contact Points from 22 countries to establish best practices for integrating the ACC scientific community into the European Research Area using the instruments available in FP6. The activities focused on the 'Sustainable development, Global change and Ecosystems' pillar.

The presentation will specifically address two tasks of the project, 'The NCP benchmarking exercise' and 'Networking for integration'. Speakers include representatives from the European Commission and leaders of the project's work programmes.
