INPI, the European Patent Academy of the European Patent Office has organised a symposium on 'Intellectual property and value creation: valuation and exploitation of corporate intangible assets,' to be held in Paris on 18 and 19 May.

An estimated 75 to 90 per cent of listed companies' assets are intangible, tied into patents or other intellectual property. The symposium aims to develop an economic, financial and strategic approach to intellectual property, going further than the legal perspective.

The day will provide an overview of the latest valuation methods of intellectual property assets, methods of exploiting these various assets, approaches to intellectual property exploitation across different industries and methods for driving innovation.For more information (in French), please consult the following web address:
