An international conference on 'Socioeconomic diversification in coastal communities: innovative alternatives in fisheries, shellfish gathering and aquaculture' will take place in Vigo, Spain, on 3 and 4 May.
The event will be a platform for public administrators, stakeholders in the fishing sector, the scientific community and society in general to discuss current projects, as well as the short and medium term goals for socioeconomic diversification.
