Women engineers in industrial research

A workshop on the careers of women engineers in industrial research will take place in Paris, France, on 22 May.
Human resources directors from industry will be invited to the event in order to present their experiences of good practice in terms of promoting women engineers in companies.
Sessions on 'good practices in the recruitment process of women engineers' and 'good practices during the evolution of the career' will take place. Examples will be presented by Schlumberger, PSA Peugeot Citroen, Gaz de France and the European Space Agency (ESA).
The event is organised within the framework of the Prometea project, funded under the Science and Society section of the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6).For further information, please visit:
