Summer institute on geographic information science

The fourth annual Summer Institute on Geographic Information Science will take place from 26 June to 7 July in Fattoria Montebeni, near Fiesole, Italy.
The event, aimed at researchers from the university, commercial, and government sectors, provides an opportunity for peer-o-peer interaction with leading international experts. Specifically, it will offer participants opportunities to:
- learn the state of the art in topic areas;
- explore tomorrow's research and market challenges;
- challenge their daily work setting, to think 'outside the box';
- present their own work and ideas to receive feedback and advice;
- receive one-on-one access to experts in a relaxed and productive setting;
- improve presentation and team work skills;
- return home refreshed and newly motivated.
