EPOBIO (Realising the Economic Potential of Sustainable Resources - Bioproducts from Non-food Crops) has organised a workshop to be held in Wageningen, the Netherlands from 22 to 24 May 2006.

EPOBIO is funded under the European Commission's Sixth Framework Programme (FP6), and builds on previous workshops developed under the EC-US Task Force on Biotechnology Research.

The event hopes to attract major actors from the biotechnology and renewable sectors, to help EPOBIO identify suitable topics for research projects in flagship themes to be developed globally over the coming years. The event will be suitable for those senior academics, industrialists and policy-makers interested in pre-competitive research, targeted at sustainable products for the benefit of society in years to come.For further information and to register, please visit:
