The Fifth Community Aeronautics Days, a key event for European aeronautics research and technology will take place in Vienna, Austria from 19-22 June.
The event, hosted by the Austrian Presidency of the EU, will showcase some of the best in advanced aeronautical technology. There will be showcases of projects completed under the Fifth and Sixth Framework Programmes (FP5 and FP6), as well as events to encourage the sharing of technology and best practice. There will be special initiatives to support small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs).
Key issues to be debated during the exhibition include:
- a special focus on new Member States and global integration;
- a look forward to FP7;
- spotlight on SMEs.
More than 1,000 delegates are expected to attend from all sectors of European research and further, from company CEOs to researchers to coordinators. Students are also encouraged to attend.For further information, go to the event website here:
