Slovenia hosts regional innovation conferences

The Slovenian Business and Research Association (SBRA) will host the Research, Innovation and Business Network (RIBN), and the European Regional Economic Forum on 13 June and 14 to15 June respectively. Both will take place in Nova Gorica, Slovenia.
The first event will see an introduction to the RIBN, and presentations on Balkan programmes and the investment climate in the region.
The second event will be opened by representatives from the Slovenian government, the European Commission, the Committee of the Regions and the guest regions of Stockholm and Podgorica. Later sessions will address the European, national and regional dimension of the revised Lisbon Strategy and support for innovation at each level; environmentally sustainable technologies in water management; and programmes for the Balkan region.For further information, please visit:
