France to host intelligent transport congress

A congress on intelligent transport systems - new applications for new markets - will take place in Saint-Brieuc, France, on 15 and 16 June.
The event will include opening speeches by Jacques Barrot, Vice-President of the European Commission responsible for transport, and François Goulard, French Minister for Education and Research.
Round tables will address: technological innovation and users' needs; an intelligent transport systems (ITS) vision for local government; new applications, markets, trends and challenges; and partnerships between local governments, the national government and the European Commission, in addition to a number of workshops.For further information, please contact the congress organisers:
