Seminar on the planning and maintenance of AVAC air-conditioning systems

The European Commission's THERMIE programme has organized, in collaboration with the Centre for the Conservation of Energy, a three-day seminar on "The planning and maintenance of AVAC air-conditioning systems". The seminar will take place in Lisbon on 25-27 May 1994.

The seminar will focus on the rational use of energy in existing and innovation technologies, with particular reference to air-conditioning systems and the impact of technological equipment on buildings.

The following topics will be discussed:

- Criteria for planning conditions;
- Planning strategies for buildings;
- Environmental impact of air-conditioning;
- Planning, maintenance and efficiency of AVAC systems;
- Conventional and innovation technologies;
- Control systems;
- National regulations.
