From 28 to 30 September the EU-funded ECOLEAD (European Collaborative networked Organisations LEADership initiative) project will hold a Summer School on collaborative networks in Helsinki, Finland, in the framework of the Working Conference on Virtual Enterprises.

The ECOLEAD project aims to create the necessary strong foundations and mechanisms for establishing the most advanced collaborative and network-based industry society. Most enterprises will be part of sustainable collaborative networks that will act as a breeding environment for the formation of dynamic virtual organisations in response to fast changing market conditions.

The Summer School will present the latest in the theoretical foundations of Communities of Networked Organisations (CNO), virtual organisation management, professional virtual organisations and virtual breeding environments. It will also demonstrate recent advances in the design and development of corresponding information and communication technologies (ICT) infrastructures, while experts will highlight different aspects of this recently established and very active scientific domain with high potential for the business world. For more information, please visit:
