The European Technology Platform for Sustainable Chemistry will present an action plan for research and innovation over the next five years and beyond at a workshop in Budapest, Hungary, on 27 August.

Eight main themes will be explored: bio-based economy; energy; health care; information and communication technologies; nanotechnology; sustainable quality of life; sustainable product and process design; and transport.

The workshop aims to air and discuss the action plan proposals. Contributions will come from, amongst others, Nobel Laureate Professor Jean-Marie Lehn, but proposals are welcome from all delegates.

The meeting is being held in conjunction with the 1st European Chemical Congress organised by the European Association for Chemical and Molecular Sciences (EuCheMS).For further information, and to register, please visit:
