Brussels to host science marketing practitioners' clinic
Science marketing is a new and rapidly developing specialisation. Authors of the 2005 European Trendchart recommended that greater attention be given to differentiating universities and to adapting industry innovation and marketing practice to help improve the competitive position of European universities and other research and technology organisations.
Over two days the clinic will present good practice tactics and internationally tested tools to improve the skills and enhance professional standards in strategic and operational science marketing. It will address such aspects as market analyses, technology benefit assessments and innovation marketing promotional campaigns.
