A technology transfer workshop entitled "Industrial vision and autonomous robots" will take place on 9-10 June 1994 in Louvain, Belgium.

The event is being organized by the Flemish VALUE Relay Centre in collaboration with the University of Louvain. Technology transfer days, or VALUE crossroad (VACRO) days, are organized in a variety of research areas throughout Europe by the network of VALUE relay centres. They are intended to bring research and technological development project results closer to the business community.

This workshop will feature results from ESPRIT basic research projects and from the European computer vision network (ECV Net). Presentations will include the following:
- Behavioural learning;
- Hazardous environment robotics;
- Viewpoint invariant visual acquisition;
- European computer vision network (ECV Net);
- Non-linear and adaptive techniques in digital image processing;
- Vision as process;
- Computer vision in radiology.

Contractors of these results will have the opportunity to meet with representatives of local industry in order to exchange ideas in the context of recent scientific developments and to consider ways in which future collaboration and technology transfer might take place.

Preview sessions will include demonstrations and technical presentations.
