An information day, for the TranSMEs project will take place on 19 September in Budapest, Hungary.
The event will provide an overview of the work of TranSMEs - a European funded initiative for the transport and environment sectors, which aims to inform and support the participation of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) from accession countries and new member states in the EU research Framework Programme. Topics to be covered include:
- overview and structure of the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7);
- opportunities for SME participation in FP7 in the transport and environment sector;
- overview of the Competitiveness and innovation Programme (CIP);
- intellectual property rights issues;
- consortia building
