EuroBiO, an international congress bringing together biotechnology and the bio-industries, will take place in Paris, France, from 25 to 27 October.

Each of the three days will deal with a specific theme, through a programme of conferences, symposia, round tables and plenary sessions: innovation day on Wednesday, finance day on Thursday, global issues day on Friday.

In addition, French Minister of Foreign Trade Christine Lagarde is expected to participate, along with François Goulard, French Minister of Higher Education and Research and Xavier Bertrand, French Minister of Health and Unity, in addition to almost 200 prestigious international speakers who will share their expertise, visions and hopes.

The European Commission will also be present, participating in various sessions on research funding, particularly those addressing small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs), innovative therapies and EuroBioClusters. Several coordinators from EU-funded research projects will also speak.

Project officers from DG Research will be available in the exhibition area to discuss aspects of the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7).For further information, please visit:
