Disseminating research results - CORDIS/IST Results workshop at IST2006

CORDIS and IST Results will hold a workshop on disseminating research results on 23 November at the IST2006 conference in Helsinki, Finland.
The interactive workshop will address the following themes:
- How can dissemination be improved to stimulate better exploitation of information and communication technologies (ICT) research and results in the emerging European marketplace?
- How to use existing media platforms, overcome the challenges and ICT projects reach a wider community;
- The role of the European Technology Platforms for an effective dissemination and exploitation of EU-funded research by the business community and policy makers.
The workshop will be moderated by Richard Hudson, CEO and Editor of ScienceBusiness.net and will include panelists from European projects, a European Technology Platform, and journalists.For further information, please visit:
