The EU-funded NEST-Promise project will hold a workshop in Dublin, Ireland, on 14 December.
The NEST programme supports 'new and emerging science and technology' projects under the EU's Sixth Framework Programme (FP6). The NEST-Promise project seeks to identify Europe's future needs for tackling unsolved questions and problems. The aim is to assess and influence programmes similar to NEST, referred to as HINGE programmes (high innovation/gain/expectation).
