A workshop on new business models and technologies suitable for boosting regional economies, as well as relevant legal issues, will be held in Brussels, Belgium, on 12 December 2006.
The aim of the event is to raise awareness among potential users and stakeholders of information society technologies (IST) of the potential legal issues and solutions relevant to these business models.
The workshop will cover issues such as:
- legal framework and tools for Collaborative Networked Organisations (virtual enterprises, small and medium sized enterprise (SME) clusters, virtual professional communities and business registries);
- legal Framework and tools relevant to Open Source Software development;
- report on Ambiance Intelligence Technologies (i.e. Software Agents, RFID etc.);
