A technology forum on the use of service robots for guard duties, danger recognition and reconnaissance will be held at the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation IPA in Stuttgart, Germany, on 8 December.
Experts from industry and research will report on the many uses of modern mobile robots in searching for objects, security and protection in the event of disasters. Innovative steering, sensing and operating systems for both autonomous and remotely controlled robots will be presented, along with new applications and technologies.
