Istanbul to host European ICT Conference

A conference on information and communication technologies (ICT) will take place in Istanbul, Turkey, on 29 and 30 January. The event is organised under the EASIER and SEE-INNOVATION projects, funded under the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6).
The conference will mainly cover the topics addressed in the first call for proposals for ICT projects under the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7), and is also intended as an opportunity for ICT small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) to meet and exchange ideas.
In addition to SMEs, large IST companies, research groups and European Technology Platforms are expected to attend.
Presentations will be given by representatives from the European Commission, CORDIS, EUREKA, the IPR-Helpdesk and others.
