The UK Research Office (UKRO) will hold a series of one-day proposal writing courses across the UK for researchers and research administrators involved in preparing proposals for the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7).

The courses are designed to help participants find funding opportunities in FP7 and equip them with essential information on how to participate in the calls in 2007. They will take place in the following venues:

- Brunel University and University of Edinburgh (29 January);
- University of Central Lancashire - UCLAN (31 January);
- Bristol University and University of Leeds (2 February).

The courses will cover the opportunities on offer in the four main FP7 programmes, as well as explain the programme's evaluation criteria and process.

Participants will also receive information about contracts and finances, as well as how to go about submitting a proposal. Furthermore, hints and tips on proposal writing, including examples of experiences from FP6, will be provided to help maximise participants' chances of success.For further information and registration, please click
